Steps
Open AI Project Builder and start chatting — From the left sidebar, go to Projects and click Project Builder (or the AI option in the + New menu). The chat window opens with BuilderPal ready to help.
Describe your project — Type a clear description of the work, location, budget, timeline, and any trade dependencies. Tap an example prompt if you want to start quickly, then send your message.
Continue the conversation on any device — BuilderPal will ask clarifying questions. Answer them directly in the chat (works seamlessly on mobile too).
Review and complete project details — Once the AI has enough information, switch to the DETAILS tab to confirm or edit the project name, type, location, and address.
Review the AI-generated overview — Go to the REVIEW tab to see the high-level summary: estimated cost, timeline, trades involved, and total scope.
Check and refine the estimate — Switch to the ESTIMATE tab to review the detailed breakdown by trade, line items, quantities, rates, markups, taxes, and totals.
Confirm completion in chat — Return to the chat window where BuilderPal confirms “Operation completed successfully” and provides quick links to view the schedule and estimate.
Review the generated schedule — Go to the SCHEDULE tab to see the full phased timeline, tasks by trade, start/end dates, and dependencies.
Finalize and create the project — Return to the REVIEW tab, make any final adjustments with AI if needed, then click CREATE PROJECT (creates a draft) or CREATE CRM DEAL if you need client approval first.
Confirmation
You’ll know it worked when BuilderPal says “Operation completed successfully,” the REVIEW tab shows a polished estimate, timeline, and scope, and you can click CREATE PROJECT to generate a ready-to-use draft project (or CREATE CRM DEAL to send for client approval).
